Product Description
All detail and assembly fixtures are to be designed using dowel hole construction
All fixture designs are to be saved in native CAD and IGES format.
The fixture designs are to be updated when changes to the fixture occur. It is the
responsibility of the fixture build source that is implementing the change to update the
designs.
The check fixture main body will be made of fixture planking, aluminum or steel.
Fixture plank material shall be Ren Shape RS472 grade and purchased from Ren
Shape Solutions, East Lansing, MI. (Asia equivalent is Nagase Chemtecx Denabblock
DB17 Grey). Alternate materials for check fixture construction (steel, aluminum) can
be utilized, taking into considerations size of component being measured, component
material thickness, production environments, volumes or quantities, specific customer
requirements, etc… The Gestamp AQE will make the final determination of check
fixture material.
